Chi Rho Campers (completed 6th-8th grade) will be living the Chi Rho Life on our Creative Camp. The Chi Rho name has deep roots in the Disciples of Christ (it's the name of Middle School ministries within the denomination). It also is the name of the first two letters in Christ's name in Greek--chi and rho.

Build friendships, enjoy camp fire, play, worship, and have fun together as you grow in faith together!s on

Chi Rho is held on our Creative Camp, unless otherwise noted.

We are excited to share an update about the future of our middle school summer camp experience at Disciples Crossing!

After hearing from stakeholders and carefully evaluating participation trends, we have recognized low engagement among 6th and 7th graders in recent years. Based on this feedback and our desire to create the most meaningful and impactful experience possible, we have decided to refocus Imago Dei Camp exclusively on 8th graders beginning in 2027.

What This Means:

Summer 2026: Imago Dei will not take place as we dedicate time to training our own camp staff in the Just Say Know ministry and refining the curriculum for future campers.

Summer 2027 & Beyond: Imago Dei will return exclusively for 8th graders, reclaiming its role as the bridge between Chi Rho and CYF camps. This ensures that no grade of campers will miss out on this impactful experience. This camp takes place on the creative side of camp.
